Monday Concerts
Many thanks to all those who were able to attend our 2 Concerts on Monday. While the first Concert went well, I felt the acoustics were not optimum, with many (of us) unable to hear the lead on some of the songs. I also wish to point out that, as we are gearing up for the Show, we will not be slowing down our pieces, nor experimenting too much. This means that, for those beginning, it’s a little like being thrown in the deep end. Do NOT fret or be concerned. Please stay the course. You will be amazed at your progress.
Our second concert at Seabrae was, by all measures, a far better show. The audience was far more involved and we even had lots of staff coming out to join in. A most successful performance. One resident went so far as to say that he attends many shows, plays etc, and SUPers was the best performance he had witnessed – EVER!. He was effusive in his praise. We need to keep going.
We have nearly 30 planning on attending the Show performances. This is great. You will love it.
If the weather is kind, we will be playing all Show songs in the park, near the pillow park on Sunday. Please come along if you are able. Watch the web site Sunday morning for an update.
This week is Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. As we have some of our SUPers who are fighting a big battle with cancer, it would be appropriate for SUPers to have a cuppa and donate to this cause. Perhaps we can meet between gigs on Monday, and, say, donate $10 (or whatever you wish) to this cause. We can bank the money and send to the Cancer council.

SUPers now charges all attendees $5 for each session at Tribe. This money goes to TeeJay for SUPers related expenses.
