My husband and I are moving up to Scarborough soon and we’ll be there again from tomorrow house hunting
I wondered whether we might be able to pop along to your Uke session and say hi and maybe join in for a couple please? We’ll be staying nearby at a campsite and have our travel ukes with us.  We’re both keen players in our local community groups, I play Uke and drums (Cajon and electronic) and my husband Jon plays Uke and U bass
Many thanks & regards

Thanks TeeJay
We’ve got a couple of viewings booked in Monday morning, if I’ve got it right I think you’ve got a session at 12.00, we could make that if that’s ok with you? Could you confirm the venue please, I can’t seem to find the Tribe Cafe. We’ve got iPads with us but sadly only our ‘holiday’ Ukes this time (but plenty of enthusiasm!)
Many thanks
Sally

Oh how funny – it all makes sense now, I’m in Scarborough UK! Sorry to waste your time but happy Ukeing!
Thanks

Some Gig Possibilities

      1. At BallyCara I had a lady ask for our card, as she has a friend at another similar facility who wants to do what BallyCara does.
      2. I had a lady request that next time we visit (09 September) that we play Cotton Fields.
      3. Carmine (the BallyCara MC) was chatting after the event (he can chat). He mentioned that they have big crowds in the hall each Monday evening (they have raffles etc). I suggested that we might be considered for one of these evenings and he seemed warm to the idea.  See note above
      4. Deidre was approached by someone from the Sandgate Uniting Church.  They have an event once a month but a musical morning once a year. This year’s musical morning is from 10 am to midday on Saturday, 15th August.
